Kornelius Bankston

Managing Partner

Kornelius believes technology should not be a barrier to healthcare. He is motivated by the diversity of our world which should enable innovators and entrepreneurs to develop solutions to combat some of the most challenging health problems for all communities. 

He spends his professional time leveraging networks to close the health access gap, seeking new health solutions for underserved and marginalized communities, and helping startups reach their most critical milestones. 


As managing partner & founder of techPLUG. He leads the firm’s strategy and business development efforts. He’s a graduate of Morehouse College (BSc. Chemistry), Emory University (MSc. Biomolecular Chemistry) and the Georgia Institute of Technology

(MBA- Management of Technology). 




Sr Associate

Pamela leads the firm’s events and logistics.


She brings over 15 years of experience in event marketing and program management. She has a BSc (Biology) from Xavier University of Louisiana and MSc. (Cell Biology) from Clark Atlanta University.


Carlyn Pounders

Strategic Communications Specialist

Carlyn manages the firm's brand communications. 

 Carlyn is a driven media professional. With over three years in both collegiate and post-graduate editorial experience, she has a proven ability to write high-quality and engaging content that grabs targeted audiences. She is very passionate about the digital media space, data, and providing solutions to real-world problems. She’s covered the innovation economy for UrbanGeekz, collaboratively launched a marketing campaign for a national activation during Art Basel in Miami Beach, FL, and became a founding board member for a pre-accelerator program for Black entrepreneurs. Carlyn holds a B.A. in Multimedia Journalism from Georgia State University.
